In 1980 the Pye name reverted back to Philips so Pye Records changed their name to Precision Records & Tapes or simply PRT. Philips had bought the latent company Pye Ltd. in 1976, so there was evidently a four year grace period in which the records division was allowed use of the name.
As before, the label design stayed the same with only the details updated.
